I'm Engaged!

 

Hey y'all, so if you don't know yet, I recently got engaged over the weekend! I am seriously over the moon at the fact that I get to marry my best friend. I'm so excited to start planning and getting everything ready to go, and if you all would like to see more blog posts related to my wedding planning process, just let me know!

Ian did a great job with the proposal. I am so lucky to have such a sweet and patient man that I now get to call my fiancè.His proposal was super low key and intimate, just the two of us, which is exactly what I wanted. I feel like a proposal should be special and about the two of you and getting to spend the rest of your lives together. We went to a spot that is special to us, we've been going there since we were in high school and had breakfast, and we just got to spend time with each other. He seriously could not have picked a more perfect day. We were the only people there and the lake and trees were so pretty. Also, he did a great job with the ring, seriously props to him. I can't stop looking at my left hand. You better believe every time we're on Facetime that I'm showing him my ring (don't worry, he loves it).

Honestly, I am so excited to marry my best friend and I cannot wait until June! It's still weird to call him my fiancè, but I'm sure I'll get used to it soon. I'm already in full wedding planning mode, and I can't wait for the months to come! One of the best things I've ever done is say yes to my best friend when he got down on one knee. I can't wait to be a Greer!
