What I'm Loving Right Now
So, I figured every so often I would try to do a what I'm loving now post, about what I just can't get enough of. Honestly, I'm a pretty simple person, give me hot tea and a good book, and I'm good to go, but every so often, I find something that I just cannot get over. Here are my current picks, links to each product are in the pictures:
- The Republic of Tea Hot Apple Cider Tea
Y'all, I love tea so much that it was my first word, seriously, ask my mom. Don't get me wrong, I love a good cup of coffee too, but there's just something about hot tea. My mom says pretty frequently that I have enough tea for tea time with the British Army, and I'm sure she'll be glad when I move out so she'll have a few shelves in her pantry back. With that being said, my aunt knows the way to my heart, and I came home from a stressful work day a few days ago to find a package from Republic of Tea waiting on me! My aunt had sent me this new fall flavor of tea to try, Hot Apple Cider, along with my favorite (blackberry sage.) I'm a huge apple cider fan anyway, but just the smell of this tea had me hooked. It smells like fall to me, and it's really good! I feel like a lot of times with holiday teas they tend to put too much cinnamon and clove in the tea bag, but they got the mix just right with this tea, and I'm definitely going to stock up before it's gone!
- Cute Socks
I don't know why, but I have been on a sock buying kick lately. Pretty much every time I go shopping, I pick up a cute pair or two of socks. I even got Ian and I matching ones with turkeys on them for Thanksgiving. I know, I'm that person. I've found some super cute and comfy ones at both my local J.Crew factory store and Aerie. I buy a good bit of my clothing from these two stores, so I was really excited to try their socks and find out that I love both. Here's one of my favorite pairs I've bought so far (they're acorns)!
- Happy Planner
I've always been a Lilly Pulitzer fan when it comes to planners, but since I'm out of school now, the academic structure of their planners didn't really fit my needs as much as it used to. I was unsure on what type of planner to get, but wanted to try something new when I found the Happy Planner at Hobby Lobby back in July. I love this planner a lot more than I thought I would. It has a daily and weekly view, just like Lilly, but the daily views are set up in a block style, which is perfect for planning an office day instead of a school day. I've loved this planner so far, and will probably continue to use Happy Planners as long as I'm in a professional/out of school setting.
- The Magnolia Journal
I love Fixer Upper, and just Chip and Joanna Gaines in general. I've been an avid reader of The Magnolia Journal since it first came out last year, and I am super excited for their new collection with Target to launch this Sunday. I just picked up the most recent issue of The Magnolia Journal, and I've already managed to read it cover to cover and make notes on things I want to try from the magazine. I already can't wait for the Winter edition, and of course I've already filled out my subscription for next year!
- Maroon 5's new album
Maroon 5's new album, Red Pill Blues, came out Friday, and I've already listened to it probably too many times. It is so good, like everything Maroon 5 puts out, and it blends a lot of different music types together. I was really impressed with the album, but they're also my favorite band, so I'd probably be impressed if they sang Wheels on the Bus, let's be honest. This also got me super excited about the fact that they're going on another tour soon!
Let me know what you all are loving right now! I'd love to try some new things!
